The Japan showcase is days away! I’m excited!
Looks like SNSD will have some competition come mid-February, as idol girl group Kara will be coming back with a new mini-album!
DSP Entertainment stated:
“We have plans for a Kara comeback in mid-February with most likely a mini-album. The title track is already finished, but we are now in the phase of creating member concepts.”
Most likely Kara will hold their first comeback performance after February 19th. The girl group battles are about to heat up!

I really like the fact that the Japanese are waiting for KARA’s showcase! Not only their music is being received recently by Japan, their popularity also increases due to Genkidan Hitori’s fanboy-ism to the girls. I hope they get lots of love and support from Japan fans after their showcase so that they could decide whether on pursuing the Japanese market after their comeback!
Kara will leave for Japan on February 5th. They will open their showcase in Tokyo on February 7th. Their showcase will be held at the Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo. Because Akasaka Blitz can only contain 1400 people, they will have a second showcase since the reception of the first showcase exceeded expectations. Nearly 3000 fans will be able to meet Kara.
